Story
Ethan is a fun and chatty 9 year old boy from Doncaster who was born with Cerebral Palsy. This condition affects his legs making movement very difficult. He uses a wheelchair and a walking frame for shorter distances.
In 2016 Ethan underwent SDR surgery which removed the spasticity in his legs reducing his pain and allowing him to increase his independence and strength.
He has worked incredibly hard since and made excellent progress in his mobility. He walks in his frame and and has improved standing and transfers. However, the reduction in services and his regular activities during 2020 along with rapid growth has meant he has found things hard. He never gives up though and is determined to gain more strength and independence.
Access to regular private therapies like physiotherapy, attending intensive strength courses and specialist equipment will help him reach his independence goals.
