The Olive Tree Support Group supports anyone (18+) affected by cancer in Horsham, Crawley and surrounding areas. We are an independent charity, which means we are responsible for ALL of our fundraising. We receive no statutory funding from the Government, compared to other charities. We NEED YOUR support. The demand on our services is ever increasing, and we pride ourselves on never turning anyone away who needs our support. Our members, are cancer patients, their family, partners, friends and carers, who all have access to our services, as we know that a cancer diagnosis, effects the whole family, not just the patient. Please, help us to continue to provide essential services such as one to one counselling, complementary therapies, workshops, support groups and drop in sessions, for our members, so they can receive the much needed respite from the stress cancer causes. We do not charge for our services, which is something we are VERY proud of. Most people who have a cancer diagnosis, need to take time off work to have their treatment. This can have a devastating effect on finances, leaving people unable to pay the high costs of private therapy that they can benefit from to help them cope with the side effects of conventional medicine, and the emotional impact of cancer.
