The Norfolk Charitable Trust (NCT), is committed to ensuring that everyone, regardless of ability, can experience the beauty and tranquility of Blakeney Harbour. The Norfolk Norfolk Wheelyboat Poppy is an accessible, wheelchair-friendly boat designed to provide individuals with disabilities the opportunity to connect with nature, enjoy the open water, and create cherished memories with family, friends, or carers.
For many, a trip on Poppy is more than just a boat ride—it’s a chance to have a nostalgic trip or experience the harbour for the first time and to simply enjoy the freedom of being on the water.
However, while Poppy is primarily operated by dedicated volunteers, we rely on generous donations to cover essential operational costs.
My Father has not been able to go on boat for over 15 years so for this to be possible is just magical.
