Story
Liz Gray set up the Music Train because she wanted her son, who has learning disabilities, to be able to access live music. Since the first Music Train session in 2013, she has facilitated over 400 events at various community venues across Bristol. The Music Train provides an inclusive space for the community to listen to and join in with our wonderful musicians. The concerts take place during the day so that people who find it difficult to attend concerts at night have the opportunity to enjoy some great live music.
As a result of its popularity, demand for the Music Train has increased and we would love to host additional events to cater for this. We also want to bring the Music Train into local care homes and supported living services, as the current financial crisis has resulted in many activities being withdrawn from these homes.
We rely entirely on grants and donations to make the Music Train happen. Please donate what you can so that we can continue to provide free music events for the people who need it most.
