Story

Recently, we've learned that some parents are facing challenges in preparing essentials for the discharge of their premature or sick baby from the hospital unit, whether it's SCBU, NICU, or both. The discharge day, a moment longed for by every neonate parent, is unfortunately clouded by the worry of not being fully prepared.

Often, financial strain contributes to this predicament, as parents take paternity and maternity leave earlier than planned, and childcare for siblings becomes necessary. The financial burden of having a premature or sick baby in the hospital is significant, especially considering that some parents expected to have up to four more months to prepare.

Our foundation's mission is to alleviate some of this pressure and concern. We've partnered with @Thelittlebabybarn baby bank, who diligently fulfills our referrals, but there are still instances where specific items are not readily available secondhand.

We're launching our JustGiving campaign in the hopes that our supporters will assist us in aiding these parents. We want them to feel assured that we'll provide whatever they need and go the extra mile to ensure they can finally enjoy having a new baby at home. They say it takes a village to raise a baby, and we're inviting you to be part of ours.

When we say no donation is too small, we truly mean it.
