Story
Since 1995 we have been helping the people of Teesside to take care of their mental health. We help over 15,000 local people every year and demand is ever growing. We couldn't continue to do what we do without our AMAZING fundraisers and the generosity of the people who donate.
On the 4th of July 2024 students and staff from The King's Academy will be hosting and taking part in the colour run, in aid of our charity, and we couldn't be more grateful....Our team of Teesside Mind staff and volunteers will be delivering the run and creating some colourful, magical memories to celebrate good mental health. The King's Academy Year 10 Premier League Changemakers have partnered up with MFC Foundation to raise money for Teesside Mind through this event.
The PLC delivered by MFC Foundation, aims to empower and inspire young females, whilst developing their leadership qualities. The Changemakers, as part of the programme, wanted to take part in community in action project, to give back to the local area. Teesside Mind were at the heart of their decisions, as our charity supports over 15,000 local people every year to achieve better mental health. As a result, and based on the success of last year's colour run, The Premier League Changemakers wanted to offer the opportunity for students and staff to take part again!
The Colour Run will be a unique event that celebrates healthiness, happiness, individuality and good mental health. It's an event everyone at The King's Academy can take part in - it's all about having fun and getting covered in paint powder whilst raising funds for such a worthy cause!
Please support us if you can. Your donations really do help make such a difference for better mental health for the people of Teesside. Thank you.
