The Immanuel Project is a Bradford based voluntary, non profit, charity, supporting and serving the homeless and vulnerable members of our community (our guests).

We operate from a Community HUB, The Immanuel Centre, 29/31 Westgate, Bradford BD1 2TQ

Mondays and Wednesdays we provide breakfast, hot lunches, snacks, teas and coffee. Plus practical and pastoral support to those in our community who are in most need.

We encourage our guests to take part in activities and events. We run Happiness Groups from the Hub on other days, offering well-being support, plus we run offsite events as part of these groups, including tenpin bowling, country nature walks and gardening at an allotment, plus much more.

Between 250 to 300 guests attending the HUB each week. All our guests experience a warm, welcoming, safe and secure environment supported by an amazing team of volunteers. In addition to providing food and drink we offer physical, emotional and pastoral care to all guests.

Our team of 30 or so dedicated and caring volunteers plus, our strong links with local government agencies and other like minded charities enables us to help or signpost our guests to the most appropriate place for their needs.

Other practical support we give are food parcels and clothes that have been donated to our HUB. We are supported by external professional teams offering help on housing, employment, social and substance abuse. A Street Medical team, our own hairdressers, and chiropodist all aiming to support our guests and improve their wellbeing.

Our aim is to serve and support the homeless and vulnerable members of the Bradford to help develop their confidence and self esteem...to be there, when in many cases no one else is.

I hope this gives an insight into the amazing work our charity does to serve and support those most vulnerable in our community.

As a voluntary charity we are constantly looking for ongoing help, be it additional volunteers or donating items to use or pass on to the most vulnerable in our society.
