Story

A team of five runners - Cae, Justin, Aimee, Rhys and Rojan will be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon on 7th April 2024. The runners will be covering 13.1 miles taking in the Landmarks of London.

The Golf Trust team are aiming to raise £10,000 to support disability golf projects across the UK. Every penny of your donation - no matter how big or small makes a huge impact on disabled people accessing golf opportunities.

The Golf Trust was founded in 2012 to bring people together through golf. In 2023, The Golf Trust are providing accessible recreational golf opportunities for disabled people. Their work caters for all disabilities but they specialise in Autism and use a specialist machine called a Paragolfer that lifts users from a sitting position to a standing position to play golf. A mixture of delivery at community space, schools and golf clubs.

24% of the UK's population have a registered disability. The Golf Trust is offering life-changing opportunities for disabled people to learn to play golf.

Your sponsorship will fund 8 week structured golf programmes for disabled people and their families. The programmes benefit our participants by giving a purpose to life and a reason to get out of bed in the morning, increasing physical activity and extending social networks.
