During these unprecedented times, the vital role that fostering plays within our society has never been more important with over 65,000 children being looked after by foster families right now.
Just as our services and support are facing unprecedented demand, the fact that fundraising activities and events like the London Marathon cannot safely take place means that we are also facing a loss of income of around £25,000.
If you can help, please donate whatever you are able to give to support our emergency appeal.
We have extended opening hours on our helplines to support people concerned about the impact on children in foster care. Alongside this, we are striving to provide the most up to date advice and resources to foster families and fostering services through our Coronavirus hub and regular bulletins, as well as via our practice staff. We are also working to ensure key decision makers recognise and act on the needs of the fostering community and the children they care for as soon as possible.
Any donation that you can make towards our appeal will help us keep families fostering in these challenging times and ensure children have as much stability as possible in loving homes.
Thank you.
