Visit the charity's profileA visit to the hospital can be a stressful and scary experience for anyone, but especially children. The Child Life team at The Childrens Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital provides developmental, educational, and therapeutic interventions to patients and their families to assist during their hospital stay. Activities provided by our Child Life Specialists include medical therapeutic play in our dedicated child-friendly playroom; art, pet, and music therapies; and organizing special events and activities such as special guests and holiday parties.
To provide this service to patients, the Child Life team seeks support from the community. We are seeking to raise $5,000 that will assist in: the purchase of items used by patients, such as toys, books, and arts and craft materials; programming offered; and other expenses throughout the year.
