The Brook - A building to revitalize Abbey Road for Church and Community
We are doing a 5K run charity event on the 8th of October 2022 to raise money for our local Church and Community Centre and we would love for you to partner with us, and to support our desire to provide a new home for Trinity Chapel to serve our Church and our community at large. As a Church we are very excited about this amazing project. We have already raised a substantial amount from Church funds and members contributions and have made a start on consultants and architects.
We are grateful to you for considering helping us to improve the facilities in your local community. The design of The Brook includes a community hall, meeting rooms of various sizes, a large central space, and hospitality areas, creating an extremely flexible building for both community and Church use.
The Brook is designed as an accessible and energy-efficient building that offers flexible spaces for use by the Church and the wider community. Its adaptability allows for one-to-one meetings, small groups and larger events. The new building will enable us to further develop our Churches extensive community work and offer space for a wider range of activities for children, families, and people of all ages - whatever their individual needs. At the Brook, we aim to provide the following:
- Prayer and Church services
- Courses - Counselling + parenting / marriage / finance courses etc.
- Children's activities weekly
- Run sessions/workshops to address different social ills in the community via our outreach programs
- Holiday Clubs and volunteering
- Coffee mornings + social events
- Concerts, performances + parties
- Toddler groups, children, youth work + activities for elders
- Meetings + conferences
We need your help to complete the funding and hope to move quickly. Any support is most welcome! To contact us or find out more you can: Email us at admin@trinitychapel.org.uk
