Visit the charity's profileOver the years, The Bridge has helped thousands of local individuals and families in the fight against homelessness and housing crisis. In fact, we dealt with 4,447 enquiries in 2019/20 alone.
We are proud of our track record of success, with 96% of clients in 2019/20 stating that we had resolved or relieved their homelessness... but we could not provide the service that we do without the support of local people, organisations and businesses...
It is with great excitement that we welcome a significant milestone in 2020: we are turning 25!
That's why, to celebrate our 25th Anniversary, we created a campaign bigger than we have ever done before... with a fundraising target of £25,000 throughout the year! We are so extremely grateful for all of the generosity and fundraising efforts we have recieved so far, helping us meet our target in just 9 months.
But this year has been unprecedented for us all. Many more local people are facing housing crisis and our services are seeing exceptional increased in demand... In June 2020, we received 94% more enquiries than in June 2019.
So, we hope that you will welcome our new and improved fundraising challenge of £30,000 with open arms!
With your support, we will be able to smash this ambitious target, raising money for our vital services and in turn supporting people in the local community.
