Story

Every year The Salvation Armys Big Collection brings in vital funds that support our social work. Funds from The Big Collection help to finance our facilities and provide care for those experiencing homelessness, survivors of modern slavery, the elderly, those facing financial crises, and more.

An example of how The Big Collection funds are used is supporting the work our chaplains do to reach the most marginalised in society. Our chaplains operate in our LifeHouses, in prisons, the military, in airports and shopping centres to provide a listening ear, spiritual advice and pastoral care to those who need it most.

The outreach of our chaplains demonstrates The Salvation Armys love of all people, and reflects our mission to put our faith into action by reaching the most underprivileged and showing them dignity and respect.

Your donation to this page will help to support this work and expand The Salvation Armys presence in the UK. We really appreciate your donations and support.

You can also help our cause by telling your friends and family about the work our chaplains are doing to unite the community and fight for social justice. Sharing our Just Giving page on your social media is also very helpful to us.
