Story
Theatres have faced an existential crisis as a result of the pandemic. An extraordinary life line has been given to the arts and heritage industry through the announcement of recent government support. This will help many theatres throughout the country but we know there will still be a need for a fund to support small medium scale theatres with re-opening costs. This will include adaptations to safely re-open their building for audiences, performers and backstage staff alike as well as maintenance issues as a result of mothballing a building for an extended period of time.
We would love your support to help re-open up our tremendous landscape of theatres and help them thrive and grow for communities throughout the UK.
You could make an individual donation or perhaps undertake a fundraising activity, such as a sponsored walk, which a number of our wonderful supporters have done already.
Your support could help:
£10 for a sanitised round of applause at a community theatre
£200 for a sensor tap
£1,000 for installation of plexiglass screens at box office
£3,000 for plumbing to install additional sinks for handwashing front and back of house
Thank you.
