Story
St George's Coronavirus Appeal
St George's Hospital is often seen as the beating heart of our wonderful and diverse community here in South West London. Our hospitals serve a huge population of around 3.5million. It's there for all of us from birth and throughout our lives. Every year, 5,000 babies are born, A&E sees over 150,000 and 4,000 new cancer patients are seen every year.
During this time of crisis, St George's Hospital will be there for you and your family. Now its our time to support all the NHS staff providing that outstanding care - and say thank you.
Right now, our staff are under an unprecedented amount of pressure and are working around the clock to deal with the impact of Covid-19. They are literally pulling out all the stops to ensure they are providing the very best of care now - and that they will be able to cope with the predicted rise in patient numbers. We want to be there for them - and for our most vulnerable patients.
As the official charity, we are working closely with the Hospital to keep up with the current situation and their needs. It might be that they will need help buying medical equipment and supplies, providing accommodation for key staff, mental health support and welfare initiatives to support staff and more - not just now, but in the weeks and months to come.
Please donate today and show your support and thanks to our NHS staff.
If you'd like us to pass on a special message to those people who cared for you, please let us know either when you donate, or via giving@stgeorges.nhs.uk
Your gifts are already making a difference to our amazing NHS staff - Thank You!

We are excited to have given out over 4,000 care packages to staff at St Georges and Queen Marys Hospitals over the last few weeks. We know these care packages have put a smile on the face of so many of our staff and are going a long way to making a difference to their long, hard days.
