Between 24th March and 2nd April 2023, a team of 35 people from the UK Convenience and Wholesale retail sector will be taking on the Thai-Laos Cycle Challenge.

They will cycle over 400 kilometres, up gruelling hills, down dusty, gravel tracks and in the intense heat of Southeast Asia and they will do all this to raise funds for MAG.

Every day, around the world, 15 people are killed or injured by landmines or unexploded bombs and half of the civilian casualties are children. Women, men and children are living with the daily threat from these indiscriminate killers, unable to farm, attend school or play outside without fear.

This team rides so that MAG can find, remove and destroy even more of these deadly items from places affected by conflict and provides risk education programmes so that people can live, work, travel and play as safely as possible until the land is cleared.
