ShelterBox's annual Tent for Lent campaign is here. Do you want to help give shelter to families facing disaster? If so, please sign up to Tent for Lent. You have 40 days to fundraise for ShelterBox, helping to provide shelter for families who’ve lost their homes to earthquakes, floods, hurricanes or conflict.

It’s easy to get fundraising. Have a Lent Lunch. Host a collection. Do a sleep-out. Give up chocolate, swearing or do a digital detox. Be creative! It’s totally up to you.

Every penny you raise will make a difference.

When people are freezing, you can help keep them warm with thermal blankets. When they are in darkness, you can give them solar lights. When all they have is dirty water, you can give them a water filter to make it clean again. And when people have no home, and are desperately searching for warmth and safety, you can help pay for a whole family tent by raising £405.

You can do Tent for Lent as a congregation, a group, with friends and family, or by yourself. Do it to give emergency shelter. Do it to help families recover. Do it to deepen your Lent journey by remembering people rebuilding after disaster.

However people chose to fundraise, every penny saved or raised and donated will make a difference.

£35 could provide a family with a shelter tool kit which contains tools to maintain their homes or shelters.

£60 could provide a family with a water filter giving them access to clean drinking water.

£405 could provide a family with a tent, a space for a family to call home. A perfect target for a group challenge.
