Tenbury High fundraising visit to Mansa Colley Bojang school and orphanage, The Gambia.

44 pupils and staff from Tenbury High Ormiston Academy are visiting The Gambia in December 25. We'll be teaching in a school and building a new orphanage. The money we raise will fund the orphanage construction and contribute to school resources.

Story

44 pupils and staff from Tenbury High Ormiston Academy are visiting The Gambia in December 2025. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to contribute to, and make a difference in, the lives and education of school children living a very different existence to us.

During our visit, we will be teaching in Mansa-Colley Bojang School in Bojang and building an orphanage. We will be spending time with Gambian families and supporting them with their daily chores and responsibilities. We will be teaching children and visiting some of the local sights. This will be life changing for us and the money we raise will allow us to contribute to school life and resources and build the orphanage.
