Story

RBC Race for the Kids

RBC Race for the Kids is part of a global series of 17 charitable runs supporting children's causes across the world.

In the UK RBC Race for the Kids supports seriously ill children at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Our business and employees support GOSH throughout the year and so far in 2018 we have raised:

- £130,000 from RBC Trade for the Kids

- £31,009 from the Investor & Treasury Services charity committee

The money raised will fund the transformation of parent accommodation at GOSH into a 'home away from home' for families whose children are being treated at the hospital for long periods of time. Royal Bank of Canada House will open in 2020 and provide vital accommodation for parents during one of the most stressful time in their lives.

Event information:

Date: Saturday 13 October 2018

Venue: Hyde Park, London

Time: Race starts at 10am, entertainment until 2pm

All participants will receive a t-shirt, finishers medal and goody bag.
