Visit the charity's profileWe have over 100 #TeamPurple runners taking part in the Virgin Money London Marathon for MS-UK in 2021. Many of this year's team were due to take part in this event in 2020 which cancelled twice due to Coronavirus. The team have been tirelessly training and fundraising on behalf of MS-UK for well over a year for, so please help them to conquer the worlds greatest marathon in 2021 by showing your support. We also have some new runners joining our #TeamPurple family too. Together we can make sure that no one has to face MS alone.
Please take a look at their pages, read their stories and help them achieve their targets by sponsoring them!
Like many other charities we saw much of our income dry up overnight as fundraising events were cancelled due to COVID-19. The pandemic is not over and there are more uncertain times ahead, but together, with your help, we can ensure people living with MS emerge from lockdown safely and with the right support.
Every donation counts!
£50 could pay for a telephone counselling session for someone struggling with their mental health, £200 is the cost of 10 complementary subscriptions to our New Pathways magazine for those who cannot afford it. £2,520 would help us support people through our national MS-UK helpline and web chat for a whole week. Any donation you can make, big or small, will help us sustain our all-important services. Thank you!
MS-UK is a national charity dedicating to empowering people affected by multiple sclerosis to live happier and healthier lives. We are here for the 130,000 people that have MS, their family and carers. We work to improve the understanding of MS and provide support where it is needed most. Our services include our helpline providing information and emotional support, a national telephone counselling service and a bi-monthly magazine called New Pathways. Everything we do supports people to manage this incurable condition and increase their health and wellbeing.
