Welcome to Percy Hedley's Simplyhealth Great North Run 2019 Justgiving site!

Our vision is 'Inspire, Believe, Achieve' and our amazing #TeamPercyHedley runners will do just that when they take on the world's biggest half marathon in 2019 and raise thousands of pounds to change the lives of disabled children, young people and adults across the North East.

For over 65 years, Percy Hedley has been the leading expert in giving care, education and support to disabled people across the region, and with your support we will continue to transform lives in the future.

Lives like Kieran's.

Kieran is 17 and has been part of the Percy Hedley family since 2003. He has cerebral palsy which affects him globally. Since joining us, we have worked closely with Kieran and his family to ensure he always has the best opportunities available. In 2017 he received his first Voice Output Communication Aid and with our support he now has a voice for the very first time. This has been life changing for Kieran and his entire family.

In 2018, this amazing young man, with the help of his equally amazing family, took part in the Great North Run. Kieran and his mum crossed the finish line together in a very impressive time of 3hr 23 min, and raised hundreds of pounds for Percy Hedley.
