Story

Please note, this event has been postponed until September 2023 following the Queen's passing. There are strict guidelines in place during the mourning period and so the safety boats are unable to be launched as planned. We apologies for any inconvenience but we hope that you will join us at next year's event. Thank you for understanding.

Be part of something amazing

This year, we are back for another Pier to Pier swim to raise money for a cooling cap which helps prevent hair loss for cancer patients receiving chemotherapy treatment.

The Pier to Pier swim is taking place on Saturday 10th September 2022, with timings to be confirmed, and swimmers will go from Beaumaris Pier to Bangor Pier in a 2 mile swim.

The swim should only be undertaken by proficient swimmers who have experience of open water swimming, but anyone can take part in cheering the swimmers on from Bangor Pier.

Please note, all swimmers must register to take part in this event and all must agree to the terms and conditions outlined on the registration page. All swimmers under the age of 18 must have parental consent to take part.

A huge thank you goes to the team of volunteers who are again organising an amazing event for you to get involved with, and also to Duncan Gilroy of the Seawake in Menai Bridge who is supporting the event.
