Story

We take part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon every year, and this year we do so again with a heavy heart. Our thoughts are with the people of Gaza, over half of whom are children, after many months of suffering. Total destruction of their educational system, universities and schools has brought new vocabulary to the English language, educide and scholasticide. Even in Israel, we are hearing of Palestinian students and faculty being suspended, expelled and fired for posting on their social media.

At the Galilee Foundation we provide educational and cultural opportunities for under-privileged Palestinians, so that these young people can go on and achieve their dreams, and make a difference.

It is crucial for the future of Palestine that the youth can access higher education, so they can be the positive change makers their nation so desperately needs. We grieve the lives of those lost and remain committed to a future where everyone is equal.

Please sponsor Team Galilee and help us make a difference. All funds raised will enable us to provide educational opportunities to Palestinians and enable us to continue our core work.
