Community Solutions is a Lancashire-based charity supporting people facing loneliness, social isolation and crisis, empowering people to improve their health and wellbeing. We believe that every person matters, and no person should ever feel alone or lonely.

We operate from Elmfield Hall, a listed building and important community hub in Accrington, supporting around 2500 people each year of all ages and demographics. Many have a disability or long-term health issue. Many are coping with crisis or loss. Others are managing a life transition such as a health diagnosis, unemployment, or relationship breakdown. Most are significantly disadvantaged or vulnerable.

We provide a range of support services including counselling and mentoring, social and support groups, befriending, crisis support, digital support and a wide range of personal development opportunities including training, volunteering, and employability support.

Our volunteer programme includes training and volunteering opportunities, and we rely on the 150 volunteers working with us.
