Story
Babble is honoured to be working with the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation as our charity partner for 2024 and have committed to fundraise £250k for the foundation through a number of challenges.
Affectionately known as the Babble RABble, our dedicated team will be taking on the 980-mile cycling challenge from Land’s End to John o’Groats over nine days from 7th to 15th September 2024.
We’re also joining the All Roads Lead to Rome challenge, set by Rob Wainwright. Our team, Matt Parker (Babble CEO), James Golding (Babble Ambassador and endurance cyclist) and Rob Duffin (close friend of Babble), will depart on Friday 1st March from Edinburgh, finishing in Rome on Friday 8th. Please join us on supporting them on their journey.
Plus, we’ll be carrying out a whole host of events throughout 2024, with a goal to raise donations towards our £250k, awareness and support for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
These remarkable journeys are not just about conquering miles; they're about conquering challenges and making a real impact in the fight against motor neuron disease (MND).
The My Name’5 Doddie Foundation was founded by the late Scottish international rugby player, Doddie Weir, who announced his diagnosis of Motor Neuron Disease (MND) in 2017. Together, we embark on an inspiring journey to support the foundation's commitment to funding research for effective treatments and achieving their goal of A World Free of MND.
Your support, whether through donations, words of encouragement, or spreading awareness (hopefully all three!), plays a crucial role in our collective pursuit of a world without motor neuron disease. Together, let's make a difference in the lives of those affected by MND.
