Tea & Blether
We're asking you to get the kettle on and start talking about dementia. Tea & Blether is whatever you want it to be – coffee morning, afternoon tea, bake sale... the choice is yours.

Alzheimer Scotland is calling on you to get the kettle on and start talking about dementia. Tea & Blether is whatever you want it to be – coffee morning, afternoon tea, bake sale... the choice is yours. At home, work or in your local community, your Tea & Blether will help to change the world for people with dementia and those who care for them.
It’s easy! Pick a date during Dementia Awareness Week (27 May – 2 June) or another time in June, a place and bring your favourite people together for a chat, a cuppa and a slice of cake. Register your Tea & Blether online at blether.alzscot.org and you’ll get access to a great fundraising guide, editable poster and print-your-own bunting.
Alzheimer Scotland’s Centres will also be running Tea & Blether events across the country to mark Dementia Awareness Week.
At work or school, in your home or community – Tea & Blether can happen anywhere. Every cuppa poured, cake eaten, and experience shared will help to ensure that nobody faces dementia alone. Every penny raised will be spent in Scotland.
