Story

On Sunday 12th May we were asked to help a young cat who was in difficulty giving birth. She had given birth to one live kitten on Saturday 11th May and sadly she gave birth to one asleep. She was still in labour but not progressing and the owner wanted her to be put to sleep

The reality of that is beyond shocking. Even though the cost of the surgery is high, there was no hesitation in us saying yes

Late on Sunday she was signed over to us and had her surgery. We are devastated that she had three further kittens, two asleep and one barely alive. The amazing vet team tried CPR on the two asleep, sadly they could not be saved, but the weaker one is hanging in there

Mum has a worryingly high temperature and this morning will be transferred to our day vet.

So we have a very sick mum who had five kittens but only two survived, because she wasn't given the basic of care. Utterly appalling.

We really, really need your help to cover her bill please. We could not let her and her unborn kittens be killed.
