Story
Trinity Winchester is a local charity working with homeless and other vulnerable people in Winchester through a direct access drop-in centre in the City. We support over 500 people a year and need your help to raise the £750 per day it costs to provide all our services to people in need. Much of this is raised through events like Trinity's Big Sleep Out and individual donations.
Join us on Friday 12th May 2023 for an eye-opening night spent sleeping in cardboard shelters. Fundraising events such as Trinity's Big Sleep Out are an important part of raising both funds and awareness for Trinitys work.
Enjoy local entertainment, delicious food and many activities from yoga to mindfulness before taking on the challenge of sleeping out.
From 10pm, we bed down for the night in our homemade cardboard shelters to raise vital funds and awareness for Trinity's work with homeless and vulnerable people in Hampshire.
With your support we can continue to provide daily meals, healthcare, accommodation, and counselling to people who are experiencing the effects of homelessness.
Together we can make a difference to the lives of many
This event is not an experience of being homeless. We cannot imagine the realities of sleeping rough every night. We will return to the comfort of our homes the following morning, which is not an option for thousands of people. This event is an interesting way to raise vital funds, whilst having a challenging night.
