Story

This year - 2023 - marks The Brain Charity's 30th birthday.

Our charity was founded 30 years ago, in 1993, by doctors at The Walton Centre, who realised that better community support was needed for people with neurological diagnoses.

We have since grown to a team of more than 50 members of staff and more than 80 volunteers, helping thousands of people with neurological conditions each year.

To mark 30 years of helping people with all forms of neurological conditions, we've launched our 30 for 30 challenge.

Throughout 2023, were inviting The Brain Charity's supporters to create their own fundraising challenge involving the number 30.

Once you've set up a donations page, you can ask your friends, family, colleagues and supporters to sponsor you to support The Brain Charity.

All fundraisers who take part in the challenge and help us towards our £30,000 target will receive a commemorative 30th anniversary pin badge.
