After years of enthusiastic use, the adventure playground at Swing Gate School is no longer usable and has been condemned by health and safety.

We want to replace the equipment with something that the children will love using during their breaks, encouraging them to be outside and active. This will improve their overall wellbeing and enthusiasm for learning.

The total cost is over £25,000 and understandably, the school budget does not stretch to that! After the money the school has set aside and a contribution from the Friends of Swing Gate reserves, there is a shortfall of around £15,000 which we are hoping to fund through this campaign!

All of the Friends of Swing Gate fundraising events for this term will go towards the campaign, together with any generous extra donations from our supporters.
