Story

Join Team Wilder and swim for wildlife at the Exmoor Open Water Swim 2022!

This is your chance to swim for wildlife at the most beautiful lake in the heart of Exmoor. Wimbleball Lake is not normally open for swimming so this is a very unique opportunity, and, you'll be raising much needed funds for Somerset wildlife Trust.

Every penny raised through this challenging long distance walk, will help Somerset Wildlife protect the county's wildlife and wild places.

The goal of the Exmoor Open Water Swim is to give everyone the opportunity to swim in this incredible lake. While there are medals for those who come in the top three for their age groups, the majority of swimmers will simply be challenging themselves to participate in a safe and friendly open water swimming environment.

Once you've secured your place, Somerset Wildlife Trust will support you every step of the way with fundraising tips and advice.
