Swim the Devon Coast at Chagford Swimming Pool

The Devon coast is approximately 355km,10,441 lengths. Last Sept 28 Swimmers swum 7485 lengths so 302 were left. On Sat 12 June 434 were swum so Challenge Completed! £4571 raised so far (including off line & Gift Aid). Thank you everyone!

Story

The Pool has been used by locals and visitors since 1933. Many generations have learnt to swim, taken exercise and socialised here.

Only 302 lengths (100.5km) are needed to complete this challenge. 30 swimmers plan to acheive this on Sat 10 June in a 2hr session.

We aim to complete the challenge, increase the funds for the pool & give a good start to the 2021 Season!

About the charity

We are a Recreational Trust that develops and maintains recreational and sports facilities in our vibrant rural Devon community, including a fabulous outdoor pool, cricket & football pitches and tennis courts, allowing both locals and visitors to enjoy the best of country life, in a "living" village
