Story
Sturge-Weber syndrome is a rare disease that affects 1 in 20,000 to 50,000 babies world wide. It affects the skin, brain and vision depending upon the severity of the disease. Many medical professionals are not familiar with SWS and do not know how to diagnose and treat the condition. The Sturge-Weber Foundation exists to bridge the gap between patients and medical professionals to provide the best treatment available and financial support ongoing research into new treatments and ultimately a cure.
