Organised by AberNecessitiesEvery child should have their own safe, warm and comfortable bed. Not only that, they should have lovely bedtime with a story, pyjamas and a teddy to cuddle. This campaign aims to provide 50 local children with everything to give them sweet dreams.

Visit the charity's profileIt breaks our hearts that children in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire are sleeping on broken, no longer fit-for-purpose beds, sharing with parents or siblings, or in some cases, simply sleeping on the floor. Many under just towels or coats to stay warm.
We want to ensure children don't just receive a new bed but they are gifted with a little sanctuary on which to rest their head. To make bedtime a lovely, relaxing experience, along with the bed frame and mattresses we will be providing all the cosy comforts that go into having a good night's sleep. We have created our 'Snug As A Bug' bag which will be supplied with every child's bed, containing new pyjamas, slippers, a dressing gown, a bedtime story, hot water bottle and teddy bear.
By giving a child these simple items we won't just give them the gift of sleep. These items will give them a chance to recharge for the next day so they can play, learn and grow.
