Story
The temporary closure of Swan Lifeline due to avian flu in early January 2022 - and the tragic loss of all 31 of the swans we were caring for - has meant that we have had many unforeseen costs due to the stringent DEFRA and APHA protocols. Our expenses have included everything from disinfectant, power washers & pumps to disposable bio-hazard clothing and netting.
Please support us in our re-opening campaign, so we can get back to doing what we do best - rescuing, treating and releasing swans in the Thames Valley.
We've rescued over 30,000 swans and cygnets to date. Help us to rescue another 30,000.
