Thrill-seeking participants have volunteered to abseil down the Spinnaker Tower, whilst raising some pennies to support initiatives to improve the health and wellbeing of our NHS colleagues.

A message from Susan:-

Very excited to be doing this Abseil and raising funds for Brighterway. I am a Quality Improvement coach with a background in working with Children and Families. I have worked in the NHS for 23 years and have really enjoyed the career it has given me so far. I wanted to raise funds for Brighterway as it can help put resource into new idea’s that support staff and patients.

I thought it was a good idea to abseil as I have done it of a fairly tall rock when I was 18….. I remember finding it exciting but also having a few nerves. Having recently looked at the video of people abseiling of the spinnaker, I realise my head for heights is not what it was but determined to see this one through…. so please help me make it worth my while 😊.
