An amazing place for people to come together and interact with nature, heritage, music and art. As a charity, we rely on your generosity to keep creating life enhancing projects and exciting new activities for our friends and community to enjoy whilst looking after the incredible buildings, landscape and collections in our care.

Covid19 and its resulting restrictions saw almost all of our income disappear and put our charitable organisation at great risk. Please support the future of Ushaw Historic House, Chapels and Gardens and help us to stay open now and for generations to come.

We believe that access to culture, heritage and nature will be needed more than ever before to support the health and wellbeing of our communities.

Support today could buy seedlings for our garden, gloves for our garden volunteers, help fund a workshop for schools, stream a concert or give a free pass to a local family. It could fund a session of our Dementia Friendly and new parent choirs, buy outdoor games for visitors, commission a new art exhibition or conserve our buildings and artefacts - helping wherever the need is greatest.
