This year we have a lot of amazing plans and we need your support to makes them possible.

Your contribution will help us:

1. Finish construction of the first - two phases of construction of the North Richmond Farm

2. Secure funding needed to launch Phase 3 Construction which includes North Richmond's only Community Resiliency Center, a safe place to: strengthen community relationships, nurture our health, organize with community members to build collective power, and gather and respond in case of disasters. The Center will be able to remain off grid using solar and battery backup power to keep vital systems such as air filtration, power and refrigeration on for up to 3 days in case of an emergency.

The building will also house a Farm Stand offering fresh produce 7 days a week; and and expanded interior wash and pack to better support our CSA programs and free farm stands; and a Community Room where neighbors can host events, workshops, and community gatherings. We are so excited to bring this essential infrastructure to North Richmond.

3. Develop on site cultural appropriate programming to welcome more North Richmond, Richmond & San Pablo residents to the new farm facilities (includes 2 outdoor classrooms, children's; garden and ADA accessible infrastructure) . Our plans include designing and launching:

- Weekly after school youth programs

- Spring break camp for youth

- Host school district field trips

- Weekly senior seeds parties for our elders

- Monthly healthy cooking classes with local chefs

4. Establish partnerships with Latina Center, Lifelong Medical and S.O.S. Richmond to offer on site immigrant services, asthma clinics and houseless resident employment and wrap around services at the farm

5. Complete the construction of the fully Accessible ADA Garden on the Richmond Greenway at UNITY Plaza so we can welcome seniors and those with mobility challenges to be active participants, not just watchers, in the garden.

6. Continue serving over 600 families a week through our CSA, VeggieRX, and FREE Farm Stand programs.

7. Continue to train young people in the skills they will need to become leaders in land and water management, social and environmental justice and urban farming and food access.
