International travel restrictions have made crew changes incredibly difficult and in many cases impossible, meaning some seafarers have been on board for more than 17 months without a break.

ISWAN's helpline has taken over 17,000 calls and messages from seafarers and their families so far this year

SeafarerHelp, our free, 24-hour, international helpline, has experienced an unprecedented demand from those seeking help. Between the helpline and our staff in India, the Philippines and Nigeria, ISWAN has helped and supported over 36,000 seafarers and their families during this difficult year.
