Story
Welcome to the Lorraine Cox Memorial Campaign.
As many of you will be aware, Lorraine was cruelly taken from us all a little over a year ago, whilst walking home through the High Street of our city centre after a night out in Exeter.
I'm Tony, Lorraine's papa, and along with Lorraine's brother we will be walking 13-miles around Exeter on Sunday, March 6, to raise awareness for our campaign to support safer streets and to work towards the end of violence to women in our communities.
We are also working with many authorities nationally and locally behind scenes to effect this, and through our activities in March - and beyond - we will be raising funds for a range of causes, including the vital but over-stretched charity:Devon Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Services .
While nothing we do can bring Lorraine back or heal our forever broken hearts, all funds raised from this campaign will help us in our mission to help others in need and to remember our Lorraine with Love and Positivity.
From the beginning of this most horrific experience, the support that we have received from the people of Exeter and farther afield has been a source of strength, and will always be held close to our hearts, never to be forgotten.
