Story

The Health and Counseling Center at Carthage has moved to the Todd Wehr Center, placing it closer to other essential student services.* This move makes access to care more accessible to our current student body. Even with all these developments, there is still a need for funds to continue to provide Carthage students with the resources they need to prioritize their health and wellness.

We seek to raise $8,000 during this Giving Tuesday campaign to support teletherapy services at Carthage which have reduced wait times for students to connect from over a week to 24 hours. Students can select a therapist based on their needs and can work with a professional licensed in their home state or country. Many students prefer virtual engagement and therapists are available 24/7.

With your help, we can raise the funds to continue this essential work. This Giving Tuesday, you have the opportunity to DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT! When we raise $4,000 for teletherapy services, Tom Thommesen '67 will donate an additional $4,000 towards our cause.

*We are grateful for a generous gift from the Elinor Siklossy Foundation that helped to make the move to the TWC possible.
