Story

The Minories has been a cultural hub for the Colchester community since the 1950s, providing a platform for local, emerging and underrepresented artists to showcase their work. Our events and gallery programmes have always been focused on promoting local art, with a particular emphasis on The Victor Batte-Lay Foundation’s permanent collection.

By donating to The Minories, you will be supporting the arts and culture in Colchester, and helping to provide opportunities for emerging artists to showcase their work and develop their skills. Together, we can continue to build a vibrant and inclusive arts community in our city. Thank you for your support.
