Story

Support The Barony

West Kilbride Community Initiative Limited (WKCIL) was established 25 years ago to regenerate the area by creating Craft Town Scotland with the Barony at its heart.

Due to rising costs and fewer funding opportunities for charities and community groups the Barony faces an uncertain future.

The Board is working hard to close a funding gap over the coming months but we need community support. West Kilbride is Scotland’s Craft Town and the Barony and studios are a huge part of that. It would be devastating for North Ayrshire if the Barony had to close. (Billy Dunn, Chair, WKCIL)

A sustainable future for the Barony, studios and Craft Town Scotland is the top priority for WKCIL volunteer Board.

To help us secure the next 25 years we now need your help.

Alongside regular fundraising events and activities, your donations will help keep the Barony open to remain at the heart of the community.
