Story
Hoxton Islah is situated in the heart of central London and serves not only the local Muslim community of Hoxton but Muslims of the wider community of London and beyond.
Due to Covid-19, the year 2020 was a very difficult year for Hoxton Islah financially with our premises being closed for certain periods along with the drastic decrease in the number of users attending our premises. Hoxton Islah runs purely on the generous donations of our worshippers and so with the impact of Covid-19 donations reduced and all our reserve funds were depleted.
Therefore, Hoxton Islah has started a campaign to raise the necessary funds to financially run and maintain our premises for 2021.
We have targeted to raise £60k. This will not only cover the rent for the entire year but also cover electricity bills, water bills and all other operational and maintenance costs associated with running our premises. This will also cater for surplus funds in case of any unplanned urgent requirements, such as the recent installation of a new CCTV system which cost £2.5k.
We request everyone to donate as much as possible so we can quickly reach our target and plan ahead for 2021 in order to continue to serve our Muslim community.
Please also share our campaign with all your contacts and help fundraise for us.
