Food security at STEKA

Godknows and Hellen Maseko cannot turn children away who have been abused and abandoned on the streets of Malawi and have found themselves with a 'quiet' house of 80+ children aged from young babies up to teenagers and several older children in further education. The house was built to house 40 children so there is a huge need for support on their journey towards self-sustainability.

Godknows has worked with a local farmer who has a huge volume of high quality maize that he would be delighted to sell us for STEKA. As you know Kenyawi Kids is a grassroots people to people charity and we are so pleased to be supporting the local economy in Malawi by buying from farmers on the ground and allowing Godknows and Hellen full control over how their budgets for projects are spent. After all, they are mum and dad!

We are asking for your support to host a bake off, cocktail party, kids party, BBQ, bring a dish party to raise much needed funds with your nearest and dearest. Every pound raised goes directly to STEKA!
