Neurokinex Step Up Tri Challenge 2024
Are you ready to unleash your inner Superhero? Do you love a bit of team work?
This year’s Neurokinex Step Up Tri Challenge is raising vital funds to ensure newly injured people can access free sessions through our life-changing Step Up Scheme.
Inspired by the super summer of sport, our Challenge will take place in August and September, coinciding with the Paris Olympic and Paralympic games.
There are two ways to take part
1) Complete the Superhero Tri at Dorney Lake on Saturday August 17th
2) Undertake the Neurokinex Step Up Tri Challenge at your local centre between Monday September 2nd and Friday September 6th, 2024
Superhero Tri – Dorney Court – Saturday August 17, 2024
Neurokinex is proud to be a Charity Friend for this fun and fully inclusive event which is open to anyone who considers themselves to have any type of disability or long-term illness. Individuals and teams will together tackle, one, two or three events. You could fly solo and take on all three events yourself or do as most folks do and enter as part of a team with one or two Sidekicks to share the fun.
There are three distances to choose from:
• Superhero Tri Sprint: Swim 150m, Bike 3km, Push/run 1km
• Superhero Tri Half: Swim 400m, Bike 10km, Push/run 2.5km
• Superhero Tri Full: Swim 750m, Bike 20km, Push/run 5km
Neurokinex Step Up Tri – Monday September 2nd - Friday September 6th, 2024
We’re setting Neurokinex clients the challenge to cover the equivalent distance between our three sites – a huge 500km!
Simply sign up and see how far you can travel by doing one, two or three of these activities with the help of your Neurokinex trainers.
1) Ski erg
2) Arm/leg bike
3) Push/walk/run
Simply complete your chosen activity any day during w/c September 2nd and ask your Neurokinex trainer to track your distance and add it to the overall total.
Vital Fundraising
Remember to get sponsorship to make every kilometre count as we need to raise £25,000 to keep the Step Up Scheme going for another year….
Thank you in advance for sponsoring those who are stepping up to help others access our lifechanging activity-based rehabilitation.
