Story

Will you be a hero for children like Abbie?

Grab your cape, rally your squad, and get ready to save the day—because this May, we’re calling on everyday heroes like you to join the fight against DIPG.

In 2011, six-year-old Abbie’s life was tragically cut short just five months after diagnosis. With no cure and very few clinical trial treatment options available, DIPG remains one of the most aggressive and underfunded childhood cancers.

Each year in the UK, around 40 children are diagnosed. Most won’t live longer than 9 to 12 months. Fewer than 1% survive five years.

But research gives hope. And with your help, hope grows stronger.

Our Target – and Where Your £1 Goes

We’re aiming to raise as much as possible through this campaign – and every single pound will go directly towards funding crucial DIPG research.

Give Just £1 to Fund Lifesaving Research

We know £1 doesn’t go far these days.

You can’t buy a coffee.

Or a meal deal.

You can’t even get most chocolate bars anymore!

But £1 can fund research.

£1 can give hope.

And £1 from thousands of people? That’s a movement.

Throughout May join Superheroes Against DIPG to show that big change starts with small acts. Our goal is to raise funds that can give real hope to families who have heard the words “there’s nothing more we can do.”
