Story
Last year our amazing #Super100s team helped us raise almost £5,000 to support and grow our inclusive, impactful cricketing programmes. This year you can help us chase a bigger target, and impact the lives of even more young people facing the challenges of inequality.
Join our super team of supporters and challenge yourself to complete 100 of your chosen activity.
Last year, Sam from Super 1s in Yeovil, joined #Super100s by walking 100km through the Lake District, joined by his family and his dog Ted. He also ate an undisclosed number of pie and chips and raised a fabulous £844 – which is enough to fund a week’s venue hire for 24 hubs!!
Another participant joined #Super100s and raised an amazing £135 by catching a cricket ball 100 times in August. He regularly posted pictures of his progress on his fundraising page and his supporters loved these updates.
The difference you can make:
Did you know that 1.2 million young people with a disability access sport rarely or not at all? Lack of community opportunities can often lead to social isolation and low self-esteem. Our Super 1s community cricketing programmes give young people with a disability the chance to play regular sport with their peers while improving confidence and independence, as well as allowing them to enjoy the benefits of playing sport.
