The Sunshine Run 5K is an annual fundraising event hosted by The Chronicle Sunshine Fund. For the 5th year it's sponsored by loyal supporters and friends of the charity, Stagecoach.

The route is fast and flat and takes runners past Newcastle Quayside, down by the business park and back to a spectacular photo finish in front of the city's iconic bridges.

Whilst additional fundraising isn't required, it is very much welcomed and appreciated, and all money raised allows us to continue to support local children living with disabilities and life-limiting illnesses, by funding life-changing pieces of specialist equipment.
