The iconic Sunshine Run 5K returns for 2022 on Wednesday 15th June down on Newcastle's Quayside. Club and fun runners will take on 3K and 5K waves to in support of North East children living with disabilities and additional needs.

Club, competitive, youth and fun runners will take on our flat and fast 3K and 5K routes along the Quayside in support of North East children living with disabilities, additional needs and terminal illness. The children we support desperately need specialist, life-changing equipment that cannot be funded by the NHS or social services and so our charity offers North East family's a lifeline in their hours of need.
In it's 19th year, the Sunshine Run is a firm favourite in the North East and one of the original 5K runs in the region. You can sign up to take part in the event by visiting our website: www.thesunshinefund.org/sunshinerun
